National Park Quarters Mintage
The mintages for the National Park Quarters may prove to be enticingly low for collectors. Following the boom in coin production during the prior 50 State Quarters Program, a combination of factors led to a substantial reduction in the need for newly minted circulating coins. Production levels and resulting mintages began to decline with the following one year District of Columbia & US Territories Quarters Program. Levels might fall even lower for the current National Park Quarters Program.
The US Mint publishes production figures after they have finished minting each separate design of the series. The initial figures provided are preliminary with the finalized mintages available after the close of the year. Sales of numismatic bags and rolls are included within the numbers, but collectible versions of the coin are not.
The Hot Springs National Park Quarter production figures were first made available in late May 2010. Check back at this page for updated mintage information as it becomes available.
